The ultimate Super 8mm outfit

Even though this forum is not intended for it, I'm selling a well cared camera (Nizo 6080) plus a lot of extras (including the New pressure plate by Andec) I thought you might be interested. You can see the auction at:

Hi Rubento,
sorry I'm not interested in your camera (I've already got a 6080...), but I'd like to know if the Andec's pressure plate works fine.
Have you tried it?
Thanks,
Giovanni

Yes, it is an improvement. Images are steadier and focus it is better too.

Could someone explain exactly what the pressure plate does?

Thanks,

the pressure plate attaches in the cartridge itself- just behind where the film is exposed. It supposedly gives better registration (since the cartridge is plastic) and prevent breathing.

Hi Robento,
I have seen, that you have sold all items. Did you test both materials VNF / Vision with the plate ? Did you also test
Kodachrome and Plus-X/Tri-X. ? What do you think about the
plate ? I think, you are one of the first, who are using it.
Kindly regards
