Turnaround time for Kodak Lab in Switzerland

Can anyone tell me the 'normal' time it takes to get your film back from the Swiss Kodak Labs?

I received a couple of rolls back after 10 days once, but I am getting a bit concerned about a roll I sent off over 2 1/2 weeks ago and haven't received back yet. I'm hoping that it is just a backlog at the lab and not a case of it being lost in the British post.

Normally about 2 weeks, sometimes 8 days to 4 weeks. I even think I've waited longer once.

I too have been waiting for a few weeks. I rang kodak and they eplained (and in hindsight I guess it's pretty obvious) that the weeks around the end of the summer holidays are their busiest, so processing can take a little longer. Makes sense.

when i still lived in zürich (switzerland) i usually got my films back in about 4-5 days.. at two occassions i wrote on the mailer "urgent, please process asap" (without including special payment) and sent it A-priority mail (next day delivery, like 15cents extra).. those films came back in 3 days.

so, it seems that the films usually only stay 2-3 days in the kodak lab.. the rest of the time it is on the journey from your place to your local kodak dealer, from the dealer to kodak switzerland, and back.
thus, the best way to improve turnaround seems to be fast shipping.
