Thinking of buying a film scanner and wondered what people's thoughts are on the Reflecta 66040 scanners?
It does super 8 and double 8 at 1080p apparently.
Or is there something better for around €500?

Thanks for the info, the part about melting drive belts is a worry as I've 40yrs worth of film to transferso think I'll have to pass on these!

If you really have a lot of film, I would pick up a Moviestuff Retroscan Universal even on a credit card, then transfer your film and sell it for $500 less than you bought it for.
