The current software and the new software both run on any version of WIndows 7, 8 or 10 with no problem. The only problem we have seen with Windows 10 has nothing to do with our software but, rather, a situation that occurs when someone updates their PC from Win 7 or 8 to 10. Anyone upgrading to Win 10 has PC hardware that is vintage Win 7 or Win 8 and, sometimes, that hardware isn't optimized to work with Windows 10. In most cases, they can just update the manufacturers' drivers for the mother board, graphics card, usb drivers, etc and that will do the trick. In extreme cases, they have to revert back to Win 7 or 8 to get proper performance. People with new, off the shelf Win 10 machines never have an issue, though.

Yes, I had that problem. Updating to windows 10 with the last generation of chip sockets results in overloading your CPU, which causes image tearing on capture. You need the latest generation chipset to run Windows 10. A prime example of ever changing PC compatability issues. And I will point out, any issue I've ever had with a Moviestuff unit over the last 13 years has always been a PC issue, not a unit issue.
