Next to my 1972 Schwinn Stingray "Lemon Peeler", the Universal is the coolest thing I own. Anything juicy in the pipeline Roger? Software or hardware updates? I downloaded the new optical audio app and it works really well. Opens up a while new area of harvesting archives, I'll try to share some archival 16mm footage with sound that I recently scanned for the local water dept soon.

We should have a new software update within the next week. Changes in the user interface on the export page making it more intuitive. The addition of AVI output files both compressed and lossless. An active full screen program window that you can drag and expand on a second monitor. This is like the focus window but active during capture. And, finally, the black background has been replaced with a traditional grey, and all script type faces have been replaced with standard non-script fonts. Overall, it's easier to navigate and use. The AVI output is beautiful and the lossless AVI files are MUCH faster to export than the MOV files. We're also working on a module to allow focusing in a still frame.

Yes! The Avi option will be greatly appreciated. I welcome a more standard font as well. Will keep an eye out
