Oh, people, I am so stupid. I haven’t tried to put a big-base H on the rackover until today, and

it’s possible!

No problem at all

Now we know why there are three tripod threads with the big-base H cameras: one uses the rear one on the rackover device while usually the front thread is chosen for balancing the camera together with the weight of the lenses. Rackover work is mostly one-lens work at very close and macro distances, preferably with compact or even symmetrical lenses around 1:1 ratio.
