Super 8 film & narrow gauge railway fanatic!

Post by gbarac »

This three documentary I shot entirely on Super 8 film (Kodak Ektachrome 100D and Tri-X 7266) between August 2010 and February 2014... All films told story about narrow gauge railway network in Republika Srpska/Bosnia&Herzegovina and Serbia. YouTube compression is too bad, but this is price for free upload of films...
Narration in two of this films is on Serbian language, so, sorry because I don't translate and titling this narration on English... Enjoy!

Nice! On that third video where the car is driving out of the tunnel as it switches to black and white. How did you do that? Was the whole thing color but you transferred it as black and white? Buy the way, I've got my own narrow gauge on super 8. I've got Kodachrome of the 2 foot gauge at the Eco-Tarium in Worcetor mass and I've got a commercial print of the Yukon Pass.

Yes, slashmaster, this scene is shot on color film, but in scaning machine is scanned (partially) in black&white...

Beautiful films and great use of the strengths of shooting on S-8mm film. Thanks for the experience, never knew your country was so incredible.
