This is great.

However, I'm disappointed by the five minute time limitation.

I spent the last couple years working diligently (time, sweat and money) on my ten minute dark fantasy, "Howard's Keep", which was filmed entirely in Super 8mm Tri-X.

I'm just a hobbyist but I've gotten a lot of great feedback already on this movie where I have shown it. Phil Vigeant of Pro 8mm commented "Well Done. Fantastic Super 8 project." (full disclosure, I did not use Pro 8 mm for lab or transfers. I used Alpha Cine and Gamma Ray Digital).

I would have loved to entered it in this venue but unfortunately I cannot.

FYI: I also gave filmshooting.com a credit due to all the great info I learned here about Super 8 filmmaking over the past several years plus advice from members when I asked for it. For that I am very grateful.

Wooda , If you look at the rules may be excerpts from longer film , So can give it a go still .
