What do you guys keep your developing powders in?

Post by slashmaster »

Once you slit open your unopened bag of d-76 powder, fixer powder and sodium sulfite powder, how do you store the rest of the bag when you're done with it? Will any can, zip-loc bag or jar do? Is it important to use the smallest container possible for what you have left so the air doesn't spoil it, or does it not matter when in powder form?

I like to keep moisture out of my dry chemicals so I put them in airtight plastic containers. I usually use those Ziploc containers you can get in the grocery store. I write what the chemical is on the container with a marker pen.
