Since years, his website is a "Bible" for us here, concerning film transfer. The Beaulieu 708EL and Michel... a love story !

This is great stuff! I know it's possible to get something online to translate it but am trying to figure out how right now!

Maybe just like film ?! If you buy a Film projector it make sense to find the manual? if you don,t have one or projector did not come with one ?
Not the first to ask if any one has a Manual on this Forum ?and will not be the last ? There is even posts of people given Manuals away on here , or where to download ,
So if I have hurt or caused you damage in this or upset anyone on the forum by doing so then I am very sorry ,

Thank you all for your input , AND she really is a nice Film Projector ,

Figured out how to use "Google translate" yesterday and looked at that french site about the beaulieu. Just copy the text from the site and paste it into the translator. It's possible to pull text from a PDF too but I don't know how to do it. That beaulieu has very short shutter blades! Just out of curiousity, what kind of projector did you have before this and how does it compare?

You might just as well paste the URL into the google translare source form. Translate will give a full page which is clickable and where refered pages will be translated too. Albeit in curious english :)
Kind regards,

Note that one of the parts that tend to break for the Beaulieu 709EL is the reel holder.
Fortunately this real holder is now in production again and can be ordered from Van Eck Video Services:
