I did try to count the frames by looking at the waveform but it is dificult. What I do is that I can se when it start and when it stop. Then I knew exactly how long the scen is and I can then count the frames on the final developed film and see how many to much or to less.
When I´m close then I mark the seting on the frame by second knob.
