trying to convert a camera into film

Post by blanka »

hello super 8 dudes

im getting rid of my trusty 6008s to try to raise enough money to get the stock for my next film project.

I hate having to part with it but times is hard.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 2942763682

with all your collective experience of selling cameras on ebay, can you tell
me if the ad is ok?

thanks

hey, I wish every ebayseller did it your way. I almost wanna buy that camera, even though I have no money and no need for it (being the happy owner of an x-sync´d 4008 zmII :) bought on ebay). Very sympathetic indeed.

Yes it is a good ebay tactic to be honest with a piece of equipment like this, because most potential buyers know their stuff and are *looking* for an honest vendor who can tell them about the recent history of the camera and how it operates.

I'm tempted to put in a bid myself :)

as a general rule, i think its wack to get up to petty dis-honesty and law breaking, far better to save all that karma up for a big ol bank job or
major evil doing.

well in a depressing turn of events i got one bidder, and 6 days later
i got a mail from ebay telling me not to deal with the buyer as he was under investigation for fraud.

bahhhhhhhhh

at least the suns out

in a uplifting turn of events i have finally got my timelapse tripod working,
its a gearhead with a stepper motor on it and it turns the camera real real slow for tasty timelapse action.

will post some of the results when they are back.
