I think there is a film renaissance going on.
I can feel it in the air.
I think digital is emerging from an adolescent phase where it had been comparing itself too much with it's grandfather (film) and causing a lot of grief in the process.
As digital grows into adulthood, it's chilling out a bit more, coming to terms with it's own identity, independant of film. To pursue what it can do, that film can't.
Which frees film to get back to what it can do, that digital can't.

Although there seemed to be quality problems with the recording this was quite an interesting listen. Probably worth a listen just to learn more about how the industrial system of film production actually works.
