Broken Knob on a Beaulieu 6008 Pro

Greetings,

The film running mode control knob (the one that allows me to choose
single frame or time interval mode) has broken off my Beaulieu 6008
Pro Super 8 camera, and now the camera is stuck in single frame mode.

Does anyone have any advice on how to manually force the camera back into regular 24fps mode without the knob? All the antique camera repair shops don't want to touch a Beaulieu for whatever reason.

The knob in question is number "10" on the diagram in the Beaulieu 6008 Pro instruction manual, which I've included a link to below.
