Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum so I'm hoping that I'm not doing something wrong posting this here…
I recently came across an old spring-wind version of a Beaulieu R16 (it appears to be, from its finish, from the 60's), and was wondering if anyone had a Pistol grip for this camera that they might be willing to sell? Alternately, does anyone have any suggestions for where else I could look for one? Please note that I am looking for one of the Clear or Black plastic pistol-grips, and not the battery attachment/handle for the electric models.
any help is greatly appreciated
Miles

Sorry Miles, I looked for half an hour this morning and couldn't find it.
If it does pop up, I'll contact you.
Cheers,

thanks for looking Jean-Louis, please do let me know if you come across one of these as I'm still looking, although I may buy one (that is slightly overpriced IMO) that I found on Ebay.fr.

Jean-Louis, would you happen to have, or know where I may look to find, a battery cap for a late-50's/early-60's "R16 Reflex Control"? I bought one from Chambless but it had the wrong mount type (the one i received is a screw mount, and the one I require looks like a bayonet-type mount).
thanks
Miles

Miles,
Funny, I was only made aware of your post today.
I am only familiar with the screw-in type battery cover. I've never seen a bayonet type.
I can email you a page with an exploded view of the camera if you like.
Cheers,
Jean-Louis

I had one spring wind r16 with screwed in grip, the connection is too weak for the camera body. To me, it is just useless.

Re: Beaulieu Spring-Wind R16 Pistol-Grip?
I purchased a pistol-grip off ebay france, and it works great. The grips for this and my R8 were both loose/shaky at first, but after leaving them on the camera they ended up fitting better.
I contacted Bjorn in Sweden about the light-meter cap, but he replied that he had none extra for sale. All communication then went silent after I asked if he knew the part number (and Chambless will only help me look for the part if I know the part-number). I'll probably just have to get the whole compartment re-worked.
I would love to get the exploded view!
