James Graham's 360°/180° Super 8 film "Iddu"

Back in 2007, UK artist James Graham released his epic 360°/180° Super 8 film called "Iddu". It was shown in various European and Korean venues as a digital projection onto a 360° 12x screen dodecahedral installation with viewers in the center.

He utilized two rigs. The 360° rig comprised of 12x Beaulieu 4008 and a 180° rig consisting of 6x Leicina Specials, i.e.

Alot of camera's there , nice to see super 8 used like this , And with the price of film what would this project now costed ? just to now use's 100d that not a cheap thing now ?

Didn't I see in that documentary a Kodachrome pack somewhere ?

When I first read about this film in smallformat mag, I had no idea of the amount of time and effort he and his crew put in. Regrettably I never saw the presentation. I remember wondering what would be done about jitter between the images, but from the video it appears this didn't happen, maybe because of digital work in post ? Or perhaps the cameras handled it well. It also brings back 1970s memories of super-8 Cinerama by members of the Widescreen Association, that also seemed very steady. And further back, Circorama in Piccadilly, London which was very impressive but had dividing lines.

I enjoyed the video showing content and liked the sound very much. Stromboli is a wonderful place as are the other islands in that group.
