Hi guys, it's been a long time since I've been on. I tried a few searches for the answers I was looking for but couldn't muster sifting through tons of topics.
I shoot a lot of surf and bodyboarding with my Eumig Nautica and had a couple of questions. Sorry I don't have a manual and I'm not exactly a film pro.
Is it possible to convert my Eumig to shoot 24fps? If it is, who can do it? Also, what other films can I shoot with besides K40? 64t? What filters or ND filters would be needed? Thanks.
Also, does anybody else have a favorite or suggestion of another super 8 cam or even 16mm to shoot with in the water? Obviously I will have to get a custom housing but that won't be a problem.
Oh I know everybody likes to view footage, so here's a promo I shot and edited for my company minus the text and graphic effects at the end. Shot with my beaulieu 4008 and eumig. Thanks guys.

Bolex international SA can do the 24 fps conversion http://www.bolex.ch
If you want to shoot Ektachrome 64T, use an 85B and that will put you in the 32 - 40ASA or use an ND .3 for artificial light and that will bring you down to 32ASA (1/3rd underexposed).

Right on!
Thank you for that info. Is it possible to shoot 200t in an eumig nautica? Also, if I convert to 24fps will I have any new exposure issues to worry about? Thanks again.

Hia,
Of course sticking an N.D. on the lens of a camera that has TTL metering would be pointless, but luckily the Nautica has a separate sensor! You might have some problems if you use the PMA wide angle adaptor or intend to use it underwater.
Never managed to get a decently focussed image underwater, but in air, truly superb!
Good luck and keep shooting the "reel" stuff!

Re: Eumig Nautica Questions
Hi, Planing to use my Eumig Nautica with Agfa 200D, 46mm filter thread on this camera, but what grade N.D filter would be best for bright sunlight?
