VERY nice article today in Wired. I gotta say "unfortunately" Pro8 is distributing, but they do seem to be the big boys' portal to super 8.

I know each to there own , and I think it's a good thing that there are people out there wanting to put new life back into super 8 filming makeing !
and puting in there own money in order to do this , Big kudo's to you ! also to make it work /Well done ,
What put me off from this camera is the basic fact that there is no veiwfinder then the price ? you could get a really nice super 16mm camera now 2nd hand at that kind of price .

Their first price indication was way too low. Didn't they calculate/want anything for the r&d?

These 20 are the first batch and only delivered by the end of the year. This means there will be no supply to Europe. Or will production gear up soon now? Otherwise the first delivery from a second production might very well be way into next year.

US, Canada and Mexico will get a total of 10-20 cameras for the reduced price under our beta camera program.
Customers in the European Union will have access to the same amount of cameras as well.

We will be making an announcement later today regarding our beta program on our webpage.
