Beaulieu 4008 with leica m mount adapter

Hello' ANY one out there who knows 'if I get a beaulieu 4008 leica m mount adapter would I be able to put a 28mm Leica m Lens as the flange of the lens is to big to put on my Leicina special ?

I assume you have the first version of this lens? The M to C mount adapters aren't that deep either.

Thank s Mana , it ,s fit the Leicina special but can not turn to infinity because of the lens flange ,

What do you mean with lens flange?

If the bayonet takes the lens then the flanges meet.
Trouble could possibly be that the 28mm has protruding rear element? Which is not a problem on M-camera but can be on Leicina.
C-M adapters are somewhat deeper as the C-filmplane distance is smaller.

The cylinder space in front of the M-bayonet on the Leicina is unlimited, this cannot be te problem. Unless you have very large tube on and want to mount the set on a tripod.

Thank you AJ it's the rear of the 28mm m Lens that has protruding rear have now got c m adapter of ebay today , waiting for shipping, will see if it all works out for what I want,

Just got the beaulieu M mount adapter , my 28mm m lens will not fit as the rear of the lens is to big for the adapter ! but will fit leicina speical but can not turn all the way ,
So No it will not work ? on both cameras .
