Anybody got an idea about why there are so few Beaulieu 7008 or 9008 advertised for purchase?
Is it an incidental slump or is everybody clinging on to his or hers
It is almost as if there are more Leicina Special than 7008 and 9008

I would imagine the 7008 with the quartz controlled speeds is much sought after.
I think only a handful of 9008 were ever sold.
You might want to check out this document and look at the prices:

I was under the impression that there used to be more available. Quartz or not.
Nice lot of accessoiries. A 1991 video-assist with clever bridge to mount it using the flash-shoe
Kind regards,
André

I picked up my 7008 pro for $250 about 5 years ago. At that price I'd probably never sell it even if film is long gone. It's just so damn cool!

I have a black, Beaulieu 4008 "Jubilee" edition with the extremely rare Angénieux 1.2 6-80mm lens. I really can't see what crystal sync is going to do for me. Do you see a big difference with yours Mana?

Funny Will I have the Jubilee as well! Honestly, if it wasn't for the price I paid for my 7008, I probably would just have my ZM4008 only!
