Paying for an Ebay auction with PayPal

Post by Technicolor »

Hi Guys,

I've just completed my membership with Paypal and I'd like to be able to pay by paypal on ebay. How does this work, do I just go to the "send money" tab once I've won an auction?

Cheers

The way I do it is PayPal connects to my bank and does a transfer of funds from my checking account, sort of an e-check. It is very fast, I make payments instantly and I get my items faster. PayPal can also make a payment with my credit card.

When you win an item on ebay all you need to do is click the 'pay now' link that will appear in you winning bid email from ebay & also on the ebay page for the item you won. Click 'pay now' then secect method of payment (paypal) at this point ebay redirects you to a paypal page with the auction details already filled in.
Or go straight to paypal, login & select 'pay for ebay items'. Then enter the ebay item number and follow from there. It's all straight forward when you come to use it.
Ebay & paypal work well together because i think ebay now own paypal & have made it easier to pay using paypal than it was previously.
hope this helps,
