Help!

Post by andysworkshop »

Hi,
We was wondering if you may help, we have been sorting put our fathers garage and came across a projector Sekonic 80P, not sure if its still works as power lead is missing, would you have one or know where we could buy one? Or is there a compatible one?

Kind

I happen to have a Sekonic 80P projector myself. It worked a treat for a while, although I had to replace the belt at some point. In contrast to other projectors, this one is actually quite repair-friendly. Recently the motor got a bit temperamental, and I haven't tried the projector for a while. Power leads for Standard 8 projectors are quite notorious for all being different from each other. If you get absolutely stuck, you're welcome to PM me - and I can try out my projector. If I can't get it back to work, I'd be happy to send you the power lead (which has been PAT tested not too long ago) - and possibly other bits and bobs from the projector if you need them, in return for a small contribution.
