Fotokem Gift Certificate

Post by jackhutch »

I have a Fotokem gift certificate for $2,500 that expires in May, and was wondering if anyone knew any good websites, besides ebay, that I could try to sell this on for at least a portion of the value?

You could try contacting staff or students at Cal Arts which still has an active 16mm student film production. Or posting on the Frameworks mailing list. Maybe the L.A. Craigslist would be worth a try?

First time poster offers to sell a gift certificate of $2500 (who gives these? And can these expire?) at partial value???
Only buy it cheap and make the seller come along to the shop. And only pay when you have your goods (without being arrested)
Kind regards,

André

Fotokem Gift Certificate? Who ever heard of such a thing?

That's like a gift certificate to a metal fabrication shop or something... Fotokem is a fairly large business to business type business. Not saying it's impossible, just never heard of it.

Thanks for the help! Yeah I got it as a prize for my undergrad senior thesis film, and I have literally no use for it.
