How much is a JK Optical Printer K-104r worth?

I was going to try digital transfers with a SLR camera, but I think I'll just get that new Sony that does 1080i and see how that works out. That is if I can make enough money with the WorkPrinter as it is!

for the same amount of money you cna purchase a camera head that is 1920x1080psf/fps, adjustable/variable frame rate. this has camera link and for a bit extra you can get it in gb ethernet. $4k i beleive this would serve much better purpose then the 1080i cameras hitting the market. also, this camera head does NOT CHANGE the ORIGINAL image through the lens onto the sensor(processor does not try to clean things up or average things out). it is the REAL deal, finally.

with this camerahead and a apple titanium capable of cameralink, i beleive one could truly have an hd camera for shooting movies.

I have come to realize I know nothing about it. It's a good thing it's got instructions. I appears to have come with a 50mm lens and all the bellows and stuff. I guess if I can just get an bolex camera with an animation motor I'm set. I think the JK company still sells the motor for $300. Geezzz. I pay $500 for this and I have to pay another $300 for the motor? Oh well . . .

For fun I thought I'd show a picture of my film bathroom setup.



I have mounted the WorkPrinter XP to the table with 4 bolts, and I have bolts that allow me to move it up and down until I get the exact height I want. Then I use a two way focusing rail to get the Sony TRV-900 camera in the exact position I want.

I'm using an old Dell computer with a Adaptec raid card and two maxtor 200 GB hard drives to store the files (I have two 40 GB western digital drives for my operating system and other stuff). I used Dotcap to capture and Premiere Pro 1.5 to edit. I also have a Pioneer 108 Dual Layer DVD Burner and a Sony WV-DR7 dual tape drive to transfer the digital video to DVD, DVD-R, S-VHS, MiniDV, or DVCAM.

Behind me is the sound striper and the one montior is resting on the film groover. Anyone want to buy the striper and groover for $5000? I have tons and tons of sound stripe to go with it! Then again you never know know. If I can sound stripe undeveloped Kodachrome . . .

It's a bit difficult to follow the syntax (viz., "Animation Motor and Sequencer for BOLEX Cameras this is the JK Optical Printer on ebay . . .") and unclear if the obfuscation is intentional (the post to which you refer seems to have been made by the seller).
