for the same amount of money you cna purchase a camera head that is 1920x1080psf/fps, adjustable/variable frame rate. this has camera link and for a bit extra you can get it in gb ethernet. $4k i beleive this would serve much better purpose then the 1080i cameras hitting the market. also, this camera head does NOT CHANGE the ORIGINAL image through the lens onto the sensor(processor does not try to clean things up or average things out). it is the REAL deal, finally.Konton wrote:

with this camerahead and a apple titanium capable of cameralink, i beleive one could truly have an hd camera for shooting movies.
