Lubricate Canon 814

Post by kontrabass888 »

I got an old 814 AZ, it looks very cool all metal. I enlarged the film gate, and now it runs but just very noisy...
Is there any way to drop some oil into the camera without open it?

Obviously you dropped some grit or parts into the camera when 'enhancing' it. Oil will not solve this.
Kind regards,

in fact it is not real noise, just very loud, since I got it.
Now after it had run for some time, the sound is getting more smooth. but still very loud.
Well, my 814E is also loud but the sound is a little softer than 814.
