I remember these. There was that issue (which still remains) where it looks like it is "strobing" or "jittering" in some way. It's particularly noticeable when panning across the building .

I suspect the playback is skipping frames.

One possible cause is if the film was encoded using a keframe interval that was too short, eg. a keyframe on every frame. This would make the size of the files quite large but would otherwise put a lot of stress on the decompressor - as it would be effectively trying to show every frame at the highest possible quality. If it is unable to do that the decompressor can end up skipping frames during playback (in order to maintain the correct playback rate).

By setting the keyframe interval to something like 30 it can ease stress on the decompressor, albeit at the expense of a little drop in individual frame quality. But if the decompressor is skipping frames anyway then slightly lower quality inter-frames are still better than none at all.

Hi yes i did try some different preset on Megui encoder i use quality 17 and veryslow i did test also ffmpeg and do a prores mov file but it was the same
hmm maby it´s something that happend when i do the hdr or the denoise

anyway going to flood with more clips :) maby you see where the "strobing" or "jittering" happens

Low exposure Original Clip
https://vimeo.com/81913251

high exposure Original Clip
https://vimeo.com/81913250

Low exposure i try to get as much as possible from the shadows i did use hdragc avisynth plugin (NO DENOISE)
https://vimeo.com/81913249

Low+High exposure(the Low exposure i get as much as possible from the shadows and then i add the high exposure to get even more from the shadows) (NO DENOISE)
https://vimeo.com/81918358

and last i do the denoise that you see on the Test 1 and Test 2

i did test frame interpolation from 18 fps to 25 but i get artefacts and it soften the image to here is the clip
