A replacement for Plus-X.
Worth a try. If it's better looking than Tri-X (and Tri-X aint bad) then it will be worth it.

It's a little cheaper than tri-x too.
I'm only an amateur and on a budget so would be curious to know if anyone else has tried it before I take the plunge?

I've just realised that Nanolabs in Australia are recommending the film, and knowing the people behind Nanolabs, I'd take their recommendation as a very good endorsement:Angus wrote:It's a little cheaper than tri-x too.

"A beautiful fine grained black and white reversal film. Makes an ideal replacement for the discontinued Plus-X. Sold in the new GK super 8 cartridge."

Indeed I might buy a few rolls (I mean carts) myself and have a play.

Re: ADOX super 8 film
yep, but I haven't seen it yet. I got an email from Andec today that my film has been sent to me. I hope I get it on friday.
And I'm curious to see what the GK-film cartridge looks inside, so I asked them to return the empty cart.
