How to adjust the focus of the viewfinder lenses of a Bell & Howell camera Filmo 70 DL so that what appears in the viewfinder remains sharp when changing viewfinder lens?
I have two viewfinder lenses, one is for the focal 1", the other for the 0.7". If I set the viewfinder to get a sharp image with one of the lenses, with the other lens, the image is completely blurred.
Viewfinder lenses contain two lenses, one has two convex faces, the other has a flat surface and the other convex. How to position inside the lenses?

Just use the parallax viewfinder to frame the image. You don't need to worry about focusing through the viewfinder with the Filmo. There is a little focusing devise on the side of the turret which is completely useless. Best thing to do is just measure the distance from the film plane to your subject. I'd recommend investing in a good digital tape measure. Attach it to your camera and then just get the digital reading off the tape measure, dial it in on the lens you are using and you'll get perfect focus. Best and easiest way by far.

Re: Bell & Howell Filmo 70 Viewfinder lenses adjustment
I solved my problem. It was not the setting distance of the shooting lens, but the finder lenses (without adjustment). One of these lenses was not completely screwed. It remained 1 mm apart. The image in the Finder was completely blurred. And for screwing it completely, I had to use multi-plug plier and force.
It now remains for me to successfully clean the tiny lenses of these finder lens. The smallest dust appears huge in the finder…
