1014E has better focusing aid. the 814E is with micro prism focus screen, it doesn't help to focusing at all, because the scree is infront the rear elements.
So Avoi 814E(bad focusing aid) and 814XL(no 24 FPS), go for 814, 814 XLS or 1014 series.
