More USA help needed by nanolab!

Post by richard p. t. »

Hi all,
I have another problem I wonder if someone in the usa can help me with. There are some Kodak #8 filters on ebay. These are no longer made. The seller, however, won't post outside the usa. They also don't accept questions or allow themselves to be contacted. The auction is for 6 filters. I'd like someone to bid and win these for me.
Here is the auction link:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181064988107 ... 1423.l2649
They are worth $100 plus postage to me.
Can someone help me with this? If you can, plese reply to this post and say that you will, so that more than one of you kind souls don't bid against each other on them for me!
my email by the way is richard@nanolab.com.au
many thanks,
richard

Have you checked out companies like this?

http://www.ustooz.com/

I use a similare service to Norway from the US and it works great.

Hi Andreas,
thanks for the link. I shall use that in the future. It makes sense that someone would offer that.

Sadly in this instance the auction ends in 9 hours and that site requires 48 hours notice.

Anyone in the states able to help me out here?

Well its starting to get a bit late here in Aus. If someone up there in the states is generous enough to bid and win these filters, please know that I am extremely keen to get my hands on them. The seller doesn't allow questions. nor do they sell outside the USA. I can't even bid on them - my bids are immediately rejected by ebay due to not being in the usa. So, if someone could bid for me that would be nice. Do let the forum know that that is what you are doing, just in case two people want to come to my rescue!
all the best,
richard

Hi Richard,

I just tried on your behalf but this new eBay system also restricts my Canadian sourced bid. I will try one of my US contacts.

Cheers!
