Portable Lighting for a Nizo 801

Post by billfryer »

Hi,

I'd like to attach a portable light to my Nizo 801 so that I can use it indoors. Any ideas/advice?

whenever possible DONT mount the light on the camera, it will give you very flat lighting that just doesnt look good IMHO. there are plenty of portable video lights out there, a bit pricey though, you could try and find one actually made for super8 cameras on ebay, I personally have stayed away from them. One cheap solution for lighting are worklights you can find at hardware stores, might not provide the portability that you want, but they are cheap and give you a good amount of light.
