secret Leicina special files

Post by aj »

Anybody ever spotted these secret Leicina special files :)
And cares to share?

From a one time poster in the long gone past of this forum:
PSS: For Leicina Special nutters: I have the entire Leicina Special schematics/blowups on offical Leica microfiche which I intend to post to the world on a website eventually...

The photo on super8data has been copied from a book. And IMHO that book "only" shows a picture released by Canon when that prototype was presented on the photokina in 1970...
This space was left intenionally blank.

One would need to check in the 1970 filmmagazines kina news to see if there was actually a (working) camera or only the printed handout.

I wish somebody would point to a directory with the digitized Leicina special microfilm. :)

Why did this super8head post such a lengthy first time text and then never show up again?
Kind regards,

André

Unless what Canon presented was just an "empty shell' concept model , There should be a working model out there.

My apologies for highjacking the thread!

Hi Andre,

I did not disappear and that is my old forum user name. This attempt to publicly pressure me to pre-release the micro-fiche which has been recently scanned at considerable expense is not too impressive. I will release them publicly when my forthcoming website is ready.

Regards,

Nicholas
