Ultra-16 and Ultra-Pan-8 clips.

Post by wado1942 »

Hello, I host this page where I show actual scans of film frames I have in my personal possession along with some basic information about each format.
http://www.gcmstudio.com/filmspecs/filmspecs.html
I have been sent some large formats that I will be adding to this page. I was wondering if anybody would be willing to send me a few frames of Ultra-16 and UP-8 to add to this page. Credit would be given where due, of course.

Thank you.
I may sound stupid, but I hide it well.

Thanks. I've seen stuff like this, but I'd really rather have a piece of actual film in an envelope to scan myself rather than lifting a pic from somewhere else, particularly since all those other film frames I show on my page are ones I have in my possession.

HI Wado,

That is an interesting and useful resource. If your interested I can certainly provide overscanned frameshots of both UP8 formats ,i.e.

1. UP8 2.8 based on Regular 8 film; frame size = 10.52mm x 3.75mm.
2. UP8 3.1 based on Double Super 8 film; frame size = 13.00mm x 4.22mm (wider than Super 16).

Regards,

Nicholas

Cool, I'll call that as a last resort if nobody's willing to send me a few frames in the mail.

Thanks for the offer.
