What is the filter diameter of the Elgeet f : 1.5 / 13 mm C-

Post by joelpierre »

Hello.

I would like to mount on a Elgget f:1.5/13 mm C-Mount, a filter and a hood, but I do not know what is the exact diameter of the thread of the filter mount.

It is between 42 and 43 mm, but it is not 42 or 43 mm.

This is obviously in inches.

Do you know what is the exact diameter in inches ?

In advance, thank you for all informations.

I believe these lenses were designed to use a series VI filter in a screw-on retaining ring.

Cheers,

My Series VI filters fit perfectly into the lens, but my rings and sunshade Series VI are too larges. The retaining ring appears to be specific to this lens. I’m afraid not to find adapter ring and sunshade for this lens. :(

If it is between 42mm and 43mm and you are certain, then get the 43mm-Series 6 adapter and slowly file the 43mm threading. It always works when the difference is less than 1mm. This is what I do with non-standard sizes.
