Super 8 meets Vinyl

At long last I finished editing a short documentary about Berlioz. All shot on Super 8 reversal this summer in Italy and France. As soundtrack, I chose the fifth movement of Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique from an ancient vinyl record (so old, it doesn't even tell you it's in mono). It's a beautiful work Charlie. I found it haunting. It occupies a strange dimension between the world of Berlioz' and that of our own. The past and the present overlaying each other or interacting with each other.
