I looked at the Adox site, which has an English option. I didn't see anything about Super 8 -- what does the board say that's not on the site?

Re: New super 8 b&w stock by Adox ?
The board says that it is in the final stages of coming to the market. But it doesn't say what format. I have heard from another source that at this stage it is going to be super 8. But I suspect it is going to be 16mm as well.
It is very good news that another manufacturer is going to make a super 8 stock available.
There is a lot of discussion in that forum over the question of whether Adox might produce a colour emulsion. There is a statement from Adox that says that while the big manufacturers are producing colour film it is very unlikely that they (Adox) would be able to compete. A number of posters are reading a lot into those few words from Adox about the possibility of colour.
But a 'new' black and white option is a great eventuality.

Adox makes some very beautiful B+W film for still cameras. I hope they make their 25 ASA stock available In DS-8mm and R-8mm, that would be sweet.

This is exactly what I thought would happen as the big boys decline in production. Innovative smaller companies will step in with lower costs and fill-in the gaps.
