Sankyo CME 440 lens stripdown/clean black specks

Hello Forum

Having removed my Sankyo from its case I have noticed that a large number of black speckles have appeared in the viewfinder. Some also look like clear raindrops (albeit very small). THere had been a few of these black speckles previously and they had not shown up on the film. My question is, would it be worth stripping the lens/viewfinder down and cleaning it. Or should I just carry on regardless?

When I look through the lens end of the camera it seems there is a build up at the viewfinder end.
