If anyone is interested there's a newspaper article here
http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensl ... 1x9pp.html
with a lot of old film footage from the 50's and 60's of my home town Brisbane --probably mainly of interest if you know the town, but I find it good to look at
I downloaded it too - it's virtually HD 1024 x 576 which surprised me -- too bad they didn't stabilise some of the gate weave

Re: Old film footage of Brisbane, Australia
Thanks for sharing Scot!
You live in a great city and in a beautiful country. I've been to Brisbane twice. I stayed there (among other places from Byron Bay and up to Airlie Beach) for about 2 months back in 2000 and in Brisbane and Byron Bay another 2 weeks in 2002. Surfing, filming Super8, hanging out and enjoying life.
My brother's moving to Sydney next year and perhaps there will be a chance for me to visit him, allthough I doubt it because I of my 3 children below 4 years. Kinda busy at home.
Anyways, have a great day in Brissie Scot!
Cheers,
Andreas

Hi Andreas you know I knew you'd been here - but I didn't know the dates -- you could probably have helped out on In My Image! Anyway I know your woes re travelling with kids! But if ever you and your family ever do get back out here there's a place you can stay with us
