Hi there, I've recently learned about redscale film s a 35mm still medium, basically the film is simply loaded and shot upside down so the image hits the red layer first, is this possible on 16mm cine as well ? as far as I understand it should be ok but wanna check with more knowledgeable people - I'd love to try and shoot something like this!

Re: "redscale" 16mm cine film
a guy on vimeo upoaded a 16mm fuji film in redscale but if you use fuji 16mm it has a remjet backing this reduces the light when used for redscale,if you use ektachrome it does not have a remjet backing so this problem wont occur, search for redscale 16mm on vimeo to see an example of 16mm redscale shot on fuji
