altarboyscout the uploader of the 9/11 super 8 now says the footage was kodachrome what ever stock he used this footage could be seen as the zapruder film of the 21 st century.

The camera operator has no clue of the event and stays on max zoom all the time. Really really poor. And then this idiotic fiddling with snap-on lens-thing.

This brings back memories of people who start getting acquiting themselves with their camera at the time of a solar eclips. This after months of waiting for the event.

It will never be a Zapruder film because there is so much better material and the event isn't on film.
There are only a few films (two?) of the JFK assasination with the actual 8 seconds on them.

While he is brutally blunt, Andre is correct about the quality of this film, it is pretty poor. The excitement of the event can lead to poor camera decisions like zooming in too much but I can't really defend nor fathom the logic of the shooter deciding to hold the lens attachment in front of the lens while your city burns.

acquiting should be acquinting.

For the rest it are factual observations.

It is a odd the filmer choose a 3 minute super-8 from the fridge over finding his video camera and a tape for it.
And forgetting a tripod
