has anyone on filmshooting tried diy processing of vision negative using c41 instead of ecn-2 ?

Sure. Its very close. The C41 developer is slightly higher contrast, but only slightly. It works fine.
To answer the universal question asked after such posts, sorry, no, I don't have any examples on line. But just do it.
