Is anyone else receiving some strange e-mails pupportedly from youtube? Ive been getting a few of them lately and most end up in my spam box. Where it says 'From', it indicates "Youtube Service" so at first, they appear genuine. Though the messages themselves contained within the e-mails are a bit vague.
I got one (supposedly a private message) from a guy claiming that he wants to put my video on his website...and not mentioning the actual video. Another one has the subject header: "Youtube service sent you a message: Your video has been approved." And within this e-mail, all it says is "Your video has been approved" though there is also my e-mail address in the message body and the usual links. The subject header of the latest one reads: "Youtube Service sent you a message: Your video on the TOP of YouTube." When I log into youtube and check my inbox, none of these messages are in there.......surprise, surprise.

Yeah I got one or two of those. One wonders why the spamists even bother when they don't put any effort into making the spam even remotely believable. Perhaps they fear getting into trouble if they are too persuasive.Patrick wrote:Is anyone else receiving some strange e-mails pupportedly from youtube?

Is there a more pathetic excuse for a human being than a scammer? Oh no wait, virus programmers.... sad bunch the lot of them.
