I would like to know if some board members have already used super 8 prepaid processing mailers (like Wittner's ones),
in order to send for processing 15m rolls exposed in reloadable cartridge ?

Better ask ahead of time with the seller. As you stated not to buy from Wittner again because of the costs.
Andec were kind enough to return the parts.
Dwayne's does the same for my special things. Like Kodachrome in a Minox.
Clips of a few meter and so on. They returned 200ft cartrdiges too.
Dwayne's has a nice dollarrate too.
Otherwise use a small lab which can respond a bit more flexible.

I've used a few of Wittner's prepaid B/W Super 8 mailers. No problems encountered. Turnaround time was about 3-4 weeks.

Thank-you for the answer Charlie, could you precise if you have used these mailers for rolls or for cartridges ?
If it was for rolls, how were they packaged ?

That is a bit odd. You state not to buy from Wittner.
While for most other goods from Wittner there is little alternative.
Now here you persist while there is plenty choice in processing-service-suppliers. And most are cheaper which you make such a fuzz about. Super8.nl will gladly process your specialties and return all parts. Also this pj guy and the other Brit will gladly help out too.
There is even friendly Freddy from Lille (France) who knows what to charge (an arm and a leg).
Plenty choice. Good luck

Re: Using prepaid mailers for 15m rolls
Sorry for the misunderstanding. The prepaid mailers I used were for cartridges. I'm not aware of Wittner doing this service for rolls (although happy to be corrected if someone knows otherwise).cinelys wrote: Thank-you for the answer Charlie, could you precise if you have used these mailers for rolls or for cartridges ?
