LCD 4" video monitor question

Someone gave me a used Marshall 4" monitor that is used with filmshooting (and video) rigs. This unit has a BNC connection for its Video IN from a video feed with support for NTSC and PAL.
My question: What is used to go on the eye viewer of a Super8 or Bolex camera with a BNC NTSC AND PAL Video Out output that can be connected to this monitor?

What I am looking for is something like this Mintron camera:

Nothing sophisticated like a video assist feed from a prizm splitter. I need something that can be used on different cameras with the appropriate eye viewer piece adapter.
Having said that, take a look at this and see if you can identify it - I got this years ago when I bought a c-mount lens on eBay. The seller sent me the lens mounted on that thing - I assume it is a CCD camera. If so, it is the most compact camera I have ever seen, measuring at 4cmx4cmx3cm

1. To your left is c-mount view and top view, to the right is top view showing place for two pins


2. Bottom view showing tripod thread


3. Rear view with a 21-pin threaded connection. A piece connects to the 21 pins with a part that threads into the whole thing for a secure connection.


I have never seen this connection before. Most probably the pins are assigned to video out, maybe also to power the camera, and auto iris, etc...
Have you run across this before?

No, I have never seen a connector like that but if you don't have the cable and power supply for it, it's pretty much useless.
I have made a couple of eyepiece-type video taps and have used a few different CCD cameras. The trick is finding the correct optics to give you right coverage without any vignetting. The optics have to be tailored for different types of cameras so its a process of trial and error.

Very strange no one has seen this type of connector. I'll just hang on to it. Who knows! Sometimes on eBay the weirdest items show up. Maybe a cable like that will show up.

No, I have never seen a connector like that but if you don't have the cable and power supply for it, it's pretty much useless.

its likely a panasonic camera with the multipin connector which has the power supply. bnc cable attachements and iris controls, somewhat like a lipstick camera. you would need a c mount video lens.
lenses for film cameras dont quite work, due to the focal plane of the c mount glass and the ccd.

We are on to something here Panasonic lipstick camera with the multipin connector. I checked on this, and the connector has 16 pins not 21.
