anyone have any lomokino results?
I've had second thoughts on actually buying one of these (not flush currently) but I'd be very interested to hear about experiences with this thing from film shooters.

I just order one the other day. Can't wait to test it out!

Finally got around to scanning some footage and arranging it.
The roll of film I used was done using Red Scale, and I didn't try to do much adjustment with the scanning. Basically, just scanned the film as is and then dropped it into Premiere.
I should have some more soon.

That was cool, Tyler. Did you use a red filter or was that Premiere? I like the scratchy grain organic look.

Yeah, it's cool. But I can basically get the same effect by holding down the shutter button on my Nikon. ;)

Your choice of redscale looks really cool. Loved how the sky turned out towards the end there.

You're kidding me. Since when does Filmshooting.com add ad links? Nikon sucks, especially when bought through an in-line affiliate link.

Can someone else confirm that this ad spam is coming directly from filmshooting.com? Just type N**on and C***n and see if it hyperlinks. I'm suddenly worried that I've got an infected machine.
[Update: Don't bother. Looks like Andreas has added Viglink in-line forum ads to the site. Just for the record, I think the idea absolutely stinks.]

Agreed, one of the most irritating developments in forums these days.reflex wrote:Looks like Andreas has added Viglink in-line forum ads to the site. Just for the record, I think the idea absolutely stinks.
I also happen to fully support your original assessment of the posted results--very cool, but little more than a series of sequential(?) still images. Nothing more than you could get from any still camera and certainly not cinematic.
