although not film i decided to re-post this clip for its beauty. it is a Japanese Fireworks i shot onDV video in August 1995.
i have posted some of this some years ago but i have cleaned up the clip a bit and shortened it down from about 20 minutes to 8 min.
there are loads of other bigger fireworks out there but i still think the beauty of this one combined with music by Janis Joplin, Queen and more is in a class of its own.
the clip is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft30KDLusf8
what i shot included 800 fireworks pieces. this goes on all August in this area.
on august 15 they shoot 10 000 pieces and i link below the 5 parts showing this - not my clips.

also i add a link to the supposedly biggest fireworks bomb launched from steel tubes. bomb has a diameter og 1.2 meters and wights about 450 kg. note the car alarms going off after the bang.
