Ampro wires?

Post by mr_x »

Hi,

Anyone know how to repair or replace the wires which power the spools on this projector please? Is there anything else that you can use, such as net curtain wire for example?

Thanks,

Ric

I don't own an Ampro projector, but I am pretty sure that the spring belts for the feed and take-up arms are available. The individual characteristics of the belts are important for correct takeup and performance. Never cobble up something to replace them as you then endanger your precious films.

You can go to eBay and do a search for Ampro belts and there are lots for sale. I am sure you can get the right ones you need. The cost will be a small price to pay for the missed aggravation of trying to cobble something up and get it to work and you will be able to enjoy your fine projector. Good luck!
