The Beauty Of A Second

Your challenge as a video artist is to "seize the moment". Everyone - professionals, amateurs, cell-phone camera enthusiasts -- is invited to capture a one-second long moving picture. The subject can be anything you consider as beautiful: a smile, a child's face, a flower, a piece of the world around you, as long as the video lasts only one second. Capture your second beauty now and get the chance to win a Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph. Watch the video to receive further information.

Don't forget: Every second counts.
Kind regards,

André

Seems like a pretty cool concept, and probably only doable on a mass scale with the digital cam stipulation. But how cool would that be as a film project? 24 frames to capture your special second. Ironic that it would take forever to complete, completely upturning and rethinking their motto "Every second counts." :)

Just in my head I have several one second clips that I would enter if they accepted film transferred to video. I think the beauty of film would tend to blow away the video. Just my opinion... I bet those here could inundate them with lots of beautiful one second clips...
