Backwards compatibility of Kern Paillard Bolex bayonet?

Are the Kern Paillard Bolex bayonet mount for the latest Bolex camera, directly compatible with older C-mount cameras by removing the three screws of the bayonet (with no other changes)?

Later versions of the 16-100mm lens were designed so that you could switch between bayonet and C-mounts.
You have to obtain the correct parts of course in order to do this.
