Bell & Howell Filmo 70 DA 16mm

I got offered this camera from a friend. Can I use 100 ft. daylight spools in this? Do anyone have experience with this camera? Thanks for all help.

I just got a 70dr, Same camera but with different view finder. ill be using it for tri-x. Easy to load, fits in your hand well. Uses 100ft daylight loads, Really fun to muck around with.
Amazing how old they are but mine still feels like it has infinite years left in it . The 70 dr uses gelatin filters behind the lens.You need to oil them . Mine uses single perf but you might want to check the older models

Oil it. load it and shoot with it. Loads of fun and reliable as hell. Oh and get a light meter.

My 70DA has double row sprockets which requires using double perf film in it. You should check yours before you
buy any film for it. Good luck, I love the B+H 70 cameras!

I checked, and the camera has double sprocket. Really I look for a single sprocket camera. I already have some film with single perf. Pitty, i was looking forward try this camera. I been looking around for 16mm for some time. The bolex is too expensive on places like ebay. And no guarantee its in working order. What I want is just a simple camera, where i can load 100 ft daylight spools directly. I have a krasjnogorsk. But magazine needs reloading, and only takes 80 ft, so I must split the spools. And Andec took paid for 100 ft when process half

Good point I have the A9 as well. Didn't consider the others might be double perf.

Bell & Howell 240 is another good choice for cheap 16mm, they are single perf.
